Everything is great, thank you very much.

Updated 15 months after my operation: I was promised 4000 FUE to refine my hairline and densify my crown area. The results are disappointing: clear lack of density in the hairline, and in the crown there's no visible difference compared to before. Things I wish I had known beforehand: - The doctor I signed the contract with, Hüseyin Kaya, is publicly listed on Bookimed as a dentist with 9 years of practice. He is not a hair transplant surgeon. I only discovered this after my procedure. - On operation day, Kaya was not even in the room. Two young women I had never seen before performed the procedure. I have no way to verify the actual number of grafts implanted. - The clinic at Esentepe / Şişli is an office on the 2nd floor of an apartment building, not a clinical facility. The surgery itself was performed in a separate location. - Post-op support is handled via WhatsApp by a non-medical middleman. The only response to my concerns over more than a year was "wait". The price was lower than other clinics I considered. With the result I got, I would have paid more for a properly credentialed surgeon. I now need to find another clinic to do the transplant again. I do not recommend Istanbul Hair Center.

At 31 (December 2018), I decided to have my first hair transplant. The hard part was figuring out where to go! I chose Istanbul Hair Center because the support was there from the very beginning. Whether it was information, feedback, or language... Even back then, they said it was very likely I'd need a second transplant. Well, at 39 (April 2016), I had my second transplant. Everything went smoothly, just like the first time. The result is already impressive. The team is almost the same as in 2018, which says something. Many thanks to the team.

I received a very pleasant welcome and received excellent support throughout the treatment. The treatment lasted about 8 hours, with a nice break in between to eat something and relax. The aftercare was also very customer-friendly and professional. They took their time; it certainly didn't feel rushed. Both from the Netherlands and on-site, I received excellent guidance and support throughout the entire process through the Dutch agency (Ozkan Erzurum, Erkan Kandemir, and Birnur). Everything was perfectly arranged from start to finish. It was also very helpful that they were able to translate everything clearly. This definitely made me feel relaxed and at ease. Highly recommended if you choose a hair transplant in Turkey. René Leppers
