Do not use this clinic. They will treat you like cattle. Unprofessional nurses speaking on the phone during the entire procedure making jokes. Not to mention the poor job done. They will leave you with horrible scars and cobblestone conditions.

I have had two hair transplants at this clinic—one in 2019 and another in 2023—and the experiences were completely different. In 2019, my transplant and the overall procedure were excellent. The staff were kind, patient, professional, and really put me at ease. They took their time, made sure I was comfortable throughout, and the results reflected the quality of their work. I was extremely happy with both the experience and the outcome. Unfortunately, my second transplant in 2023 was the complete opposite. I genuinely feel that your experience here can depend on the team you get on the day. During my second procedure, I had two female nurses who were extremely rough. They repeatedly jolted my head into position so forcefully that I actually passed out at one point. They also spent a lot of time on their phones, making calls, laughing, and chatting, which made me feel like my procedure wasn’t their priority. When I asked for a break, I was told no because they wanted to finish quickly. It felt like they were more concerned with getting the procedure over with than with my comfort. This was the exact opposite of the care I received in 2019. In hindsight, I regret not speaking up. Being in a foreign country, I felt nervous about complaining because I worried it might make the situation worse. Looking back, I wish I had said something. I also believe the donor area at the back of my head was overharvested. I followed the exact same aftercare routine as I did after my first transplant, yet the results have been significantly poorer. Overall, I still believe this clinic is capable of producing excellent results, as my first transplant proved. However, based on my second experience, I feel there is a lack of consistency in the standard of care. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, as no patient should feel uncomfortable or rushed during such an important procedure.

If you’re thinking about going to get a hair transplant in Istanbul, I recommend going to Cosmedica. I was really nervous going by myself, but I had a great experience! I was given clear and concise directions on where to go when I landed at the airport and was picked up in a really nice van. They took me to the clinic and had an English speaking translator at the front desk. I stayed in one of their rooms at their clinic and was fed breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff, including Hazal, were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I did the DHI method and Dr Acar spoke with me about my options and what he recommended was best for me. The anesthesia needles were painful, but after that your head is numb and you don’t feel anything. It was very unique experience, and I’m glad I chose Cosmedica.
