So, I am now just shy of being 9 months out from my hair transplant. I've been told I may continue to see even more improvement up thru 12-18 total months. I can say that the amount of hair I've grown is remarkable. I was worried between months 2 and 3, but now I've got a full head of hair. The hair from my donor site is, of course, predictably thinner than it used to be, but friends and relatives are constantly looking at me and exclaiming, "my God! Look at all that hair." It's so thick up top and in the front now I have to figure out how to style it! One thing they don't really prepare you for is for the first 1-6 months out, your scalp will be very itchy and will have intermittent little zit-like eruptions as it heals and as new hair (both in the transplant area AND donor areas) grows back in. BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!
